Life During COVID-19
In India, the first corona case was confirmed on 30 January 2020 in the state of Kerala. The affected had a travel history from Wuhan, China. At the very first stages of coronavirus, not all people were as aware of it as now they are. People used to say that it's very normal to discover a new virus, we will tackle it easily like that of other viruses. But the scenario was totally different, now people are understanding the damages of coronavirus on our lives.
The government of India appealed a Janta-Curfew on March 22, 2020, from 7 am to 9 pm. After that complete lockdown was initiated. We have had a lockdown for nearly six weeks now. Despite all efforts — global lockdown, social distancing guidelines, and increased sanitization — the number of COVID-19 cases has been rising across the world. But comparing our country with the rest of the world, we are in a safer zone than that of others.
During the lockdown period, almost all the working departments allowed their employees to work from home only so that they could maintain the rules of social distancing. Many people lost their jobs due to a lack of revenue that companies were unable to generate. During Lockdown sessions, we realized that only our neighboring shops help us to get the food, no malls or shopping marts get us our food.
During the last message to the nation, PM Narendra Modi Ji made us realize that our own Indian companies are much better than MNCs and motivated us to use Indian products so that the income of our nation remains in our hands only. He used the words “Atma Nirbhar and AatmaBharat” which went trending within 10 minutes of the release of these words. With this he wanted us to be self-reliant and not to depend on other nations so that we can also make our Indian companies, a brand to the world.

How Jobs are affected?
Life after Corona will be totally changed. It is difficult to imagine that anyone of us can return to what was the old normal. We will have to follow the rules of social-distancing for a longer period of time. Our health will decide whether to travel outside of our nation or not. So much health care will be taken now. We never had imagined that during a job interview our immune system will play a major role and after passing the health check-up we will be given a job.During the lockdown period, almost all the working departments allowed their employees to work from home only so that they could maintain the rules of social distancing. Manner of study changed too
As the whole country and world too was in lockdown, the students also started studying from home only. It happened for the first time in India that the whole school community started giving online classes to their students. Many government education ministries also helped middle-class students to have a study session on their television. Students are now having online sessions and doubt classes on their devices.Government’s steps during COVID-19
The Government of India took various steps to save the lives of people. They allowed the essential food and safety items to remain on demand and their production also did not stop so that there will be no shortage of food to the country. The Government provided free food packaged to the needy peopleDuring the last message to the nation, PM Narendra Modi Ji made us realize that our own Indian companies are much better than MNCs and motivated us to use Indian products so that the income of our nation remains in our hands only.
